Is it kid friendly?Yes! Kids ages 8 and older can have an amazing time rafting with us. For safety reasons, we will check on-site to ensure that the equipment fits them properly before giving final approval. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Do you see animals while rafting?Yes! As we navigate the river, you’ll have the chance to see a variety of wildlife in their natural habitat. It’s common to spot tropical birds like scarlet macaws and toucans, as well as monkeys and other native species along the riverbanks.

Do I need to book in advance?Yes, booking in advance is required. A prepayment must be made at least 3 days before the tour date to secure your spot. Please note that cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the tour. Any cancellations after the 24-hour window will incur a 100% charge of the tour cost.

Are rafting tours still available in the rain?Absolutely! Rain can make the rapids even more thrilling. Our tours operate during light rain, giving you a unique and exciting adventure. If the rain becomes too heavy, we will work with the group on-site to reschedule for another time.

How long is the tour?The duration of our rafting tour is approximately 8 hours. This includes time for transportation, safety briefings, the rafting experience itself, and a delicious lunch. You'll have plenty of time to enjoy the rapids and the stunning natural beauty of Costa Rica.

What do I wear?What should I bring for the rafting tour? Sunglasses with a retainer cord Change of clothes Swimsuit Waterproof camera Water shoes or Teva/King-style sandals Beach towel Please dress comfortably in clothing suitable for water activities. Water shoes or sandals are recommended for safety during the tour. Remember, if you have long hair, it’s a good idea to tie it back, and remove any jewelry for your safety
